As part of the implementation of its Strategic and Operational Plan 2026, the Network of Agroecology in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (RAE-DRC) organized, on Thursday 16 July 2026, in the Humundi meeting room, a creativity workshop dedicated to the development of its communication plan. It aims to position EAR as a national reference in promoting agroecology.

The meeting brought together communication officers, programme managers and representatives of the network's member organizations. It is a key step in the implementation of strategic axis 1: « Citizen engagement and agroecological awareness », which aims to disseminate the principles of agroecology to decision-makers, producers, consumers, the media and the general public.

The discussions focused on the objectives, issues, channels, content and messages to be made available to the various targets, in order to strengthen awareness, adoption and recognition of agroecology as a guiding principle for the transformation of the Congolese food system towards sustainability and security. The workshop also helped to guide future actions of the network's communication network, harmonize messages, and value the initiatives of its members, thus confirming Humundi's and RAE-RDC's commitment to building coherent, inclusive and impacting communication.
