The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance has launched its 2026 call for ideas to select and accelerate eight innovative solutions to stimulate private climate investment in emerging markets.
OnThis cycle will focus on regional programmes designed to address the unique financial and climate challenges in the targeted geographic areas: Africa – Mitigation, Africa – Agriculture and sustainable food systems.
The Lab is looking for innovative financial instruments to respond to the specific financial and climate challenges of emerging markets. Applications are accepted in two phases: Preliminary submissions are posted on the Lab website before 11:59 p.m. Pacific time on November 9, 2025. Applicants whose ideas are in line with Lab programs will be invited to submit their complete dossier in early December.
